The Indigo Blue Quilted Nappa Leather option has been killed for 2016 Kia K900 models. It was only available in the absolute top 2015 models with the VIP Package. The new Lincoln Continental may offer up a Blue Leather option for the first year as well.* If anyone can find this interior for sale somewhere let me know!!!

* Let me also point out that the Lincoln Continental will be attacking this Kia directly (whether you like it or not), especially in terms of price range. This may get the K900 to stick around longer just to compete with the Continental and be mentioned in all of its reviews.

The 2016 Kia K900 starts at $49,000 (a 3.3L V6 model was added for this year). If you want the V6 Luxury package, it will cost you $54,900 before destination. Now most of you may remember that the 2015 model had the 5.0L V8 standard, that 2015 model started at $54,500 .

Standards features for 2015 and 2016 are:

Power Trunk Lid

Ventilated Seats

9.2 inch display with voice command and nav

Panoramic Sunroof

Parking Sensors

The feature difference in the 2015 V8 Premium and the 2016 V6 Luxury is that the $400 more you spend on a new V6 will give you Nappa Leather and the Rear Seat Control Console standard in order to make up for the loss of two cylinders and nearly 110hp drop that comes with it.

But let’s look at the top V8 Luxury models. The 2015 would cost you $59,900 before destination while the 2016 will cost you $61,900 plus an addition $50 in destination charges over the 2015 model. However, completely optioned out with destination and locking wheels, the 2015 model could hit $68,855 where as the 2016 tops out at $68,905 . That’s $60 dollars more than last year and $50 of that is due to destination going up from $900 to $950. That means your fully loaded Kia K900 costs $10 more than last year’s car (and there were minor tweaks to the exterior lighting and displays from what I can tell).

You’ll have to trust me on it, either the lighting or their housings have been updated for the 2016 models when I snooped around the dealer lot. I also noticed it on youtube reviews that had the 2016s in them.

For those of you wondering, a fully loaded Equus tops out at $69,700 after all charges. However, after Genesis hits the US Market, this will mean Kia will have the most expensive models of the two brands.

It’s OK. Blue leather doesnt age well at all. I have seen a few Phaetons with Blue leather seats and interior and it looks tired and old.

The S-class and E-class convertible offer a dark blue interior option called deep sea blue. Both are quite pretty as well, especially the E-class with the blue roof.

Wait, Kia sells the K900. I never see any ads for them, or see them at dealers.

You can get blue leather interior from Porsche.

Its pretty rare, but its also pretty. So of course, it will cost as much as an actual car ($4900?) if you want to option it in.

I’m assuming its more than that if you buy this as replacement upholstery.

But as good as these luxurious cars sound, I’d go for a used S7 with $1500 APR tune, bumping the power up to like 560 horses - and everything would still come under $69k . They also come with pretty quilted leather...
